Stress history and reservoir pressure for improved quantification of CO2 storage containment risks


SHARP Storage is a research project funded under the ERA-NET ACT programme. The overall aim is to increase the accuracy of subsurface CO2 storage containment risk management through the improvement and integration of subsurface stress models, rock mechanical failure and seismicity observations.

Capacity building for CCS projects in India

Recently, IIT Bombay organized a workshop as part of the SHARP project. The focus of the workshop was capacity building for CCS and CCUS in India, with several of the SHARP activities on CO2 storage in the North Sea presented.

SHARP project presented at the GHGT-16 conference in Lyon

An overview of the SHARP Storage project was presented by Elin Skurtveit in the poster session on Wednesday, Oct 26th.

SHARP risk workshop at GEUS– first face-to-face meeting

The Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), Copenhagen hosted the first physical workshop in the SHARP project on Sept 28 to 29, 2022.
